Miss Sporty Superdrug Festival The Solution

We knew our teen audience would be heading to festivals over the summer and with a limited budget we had no way of going with. We decided to create our very own virtual festival, partnering with Superdrug to spread the word. Taking over the Superdrug instagram, we posted content throughout the day. Our festival celebrated the summer season and our love for makeup, offering fans a chance to engage and win prizes.

The art direction I developed for the content was fun and bright, allowing us to showcase our products in an environment our audience were talking about. I designed the branding for the 'festival', producing a VIP ticket, which I then seeded through the photos. The photos made up a story throughout the day, showcasing a strong theme and visual identity. The Miss Sporty takeover won Best Use of Imagery at the Social Buzz Awards 2016 and was awarded 'Best In Class' at the Superdrug yearly strategy meeting.
